The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 113 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.36 percent as of Saturday, October 15, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 18.4 percent are Ciamis, Karimun, Mojokerto, Mojokerto City, and Surabaya City, with values of 20 percent, 20 percent, 18.4 percent, 18.4 percent, and 18.4 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in 10 regencies/cities, while 18 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Karimun, Konawe, and Banda Aceh City, with tracing rates of 20 percent, 17 percent, and 15.2 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
