Weekly Confirmed Positive Cases in South Sumatra Highest in Palembang City

The highest increase in confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in South Sumatra is currently in Palembang city, with 4.14 cases per 100,000 population per week as of Saturday, September 17, 2022. This figure is 0.1 cases higher than the second-highest region.

However, despite being the highest, the number of Covid-19 transmissions in Palembang city has decreased compared to the previous week, which was 6.96 cases per 100,000 population per week.

Next in second place is Prabumulih city, recording a weekly confirmation rate of 4.06 cases per 100,000 population. Compared to the previous week, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases this week is still higher, meaning there is no improvement yet.
