Central Kalimantan Shows Highest Level of Social Distancing Compliance

The Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force notes that Central Kalimantan has the highest level of social distancing compliance in Indonesia. Based on data from April 5-11, 2021, social distancing compliance in the province reached 93.91%.

The provinces with the next highest social distancing compliance rates are Bali (93.83%) and Yogyakarta Special Region (93.11%). North Kalimantan and West Sulawesi follow, with 92.89% and 92.84% respectively.

Meanwhile, national social distancing compliance was recorded at 86.55% during the same period. Several provinces are significantly below this average, including Bengkulu, Jambi, North Maluku, Bangka Belitung, and Maluku.

The public is urged to continue practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Furthermore, the public is encouraged to consistently wear masks and wash their hands with soap.
