The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.1 percent. This is down from 2.15 percent last week, based on data from Sunday, March 5, 2023.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 38.66 percent, are Fakfak, Bima, Muna, Balangan, and Rokan Hilir, with values of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, 52.5 percent, 50 percent, and 38.66 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Twenty regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than the previous day, while 23 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Bima, and Muna, with BORs of 100 percent, 57.14 percent, and 52.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
