The average years of schooling (AYS) for residents aged 25 and over in Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, reached 7.79 years in 2023.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the AYS for residents in this region is below the average for Gorontalo Province, which reached 8.1 years in 2023.

The AYS for Gorontalo Regency residents increased by 0.18 years (2.37%) compared to the previous year, which was 7.61 years. Meanwhile, over the past five years, the AYS has increased by 0.96 years (14.06%).
