The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded an average of 12.1 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Bali, data updated as of Wednesday, November 9, 2022. This figure is higher than the national average, which currently stands at 6.44 cases per 100,000 population/week.
Badung Regency is ranked first with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at 28.16 per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in this regency has not improved, showing an increase compared to the previous week, which recorded 17.45 cases per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurs in Denpasar City, which recorded 17.3 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population/week. In this regency, the number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which was only 10.02 cases per 100,000 population/week. Gianyar follows, recording 13.26 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population/week.
Klungkung and Tabanan are next, recording 12.68 and 11.68 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 4.65 cases per 100,000 population/week.
