Kubu Raya is the regency with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, at 2.5 per 100,000 population per week. The number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in this regency has not improved, showing an increase compared to the previous week, which recorded 1.85 cases per 100,000 population per week.
The same condition occurred in Pontianak City, which recorded 2.22 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population. This figure is lower than the previous week's 2.85 cases per 100,000 population per week. Next is Sekadau Regency, also in West Kalimantan province, recording 1.95 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population.
Landak and Kayong Utara regencies follow, with 1.79 and 1.69 weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive COVID-19 cases across the 34 provinces is showing a decrease compared to the previous week, which was 1.19 cases per 100,000 population per week.
