Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage (Monday, March 14, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 287 regencies/cities have achieved first dose vaccination rates above the national average, currently recorded at 88.05 percent as of Monday, March 14, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with first dose vaccination rates exceeding 158.34 percent are Central Jakarta, Yogyakarta City, South Jakarta, Denpasar City, and Mojokerto City, with respective values of 260.92 percent, 219.52 percent, 181.66 percent, 165.08 percent, and 158.34 percent.

A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the first dose vaccination rate in most regencies/cities outside Java is increasing. A daily increase in first dose vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 372 regencies/cities.

Some of the areas outside Java with the highest first dose vaccination rates include Denpasar City, Metro City, and Central Halmahera, with respective first dose vaccination rates of 165.08 percent, 144.8 percent, and 140.55 percent.

The government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
