Several districts/cities in Riau province still record a relatively low second dose vaccination rate compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kampar Regency, Indragiri Hulu Regency, and Kuantan Singingi Regency.
As of today, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 856,000 second doses out of the expected target of 1.23 million vaccine recipients.
Kampar Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second dose vaccination in this region has reached 65.98 percent. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 12 districts/cities. As for the first dose achievement, as of today, 91.07 percent has been achieved, or 1.06 million vaccine recipients.
This district/city's vaccination program targets 634,970 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kampar was 1,277 participants. The current vaccine stock is 10,744 doses.
Next is Indragiri Hulu Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is ranked second lowest. With a target of 336,210 vaccine recipients, 73.39 percent or 246,730 recipients have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement is recorded at 93.7 percent, or 592,320 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Indragiri Hulu was 670 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 14,490 doses.
Another is Kuantan Singingi Regency, ranked third. With a target of 258,200 vaccine recipients, 73.71 percent or 190,310 recipients have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kuantan Singingi was 586 participants. The current vaccine stock is 10,620 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Riau has reached 87.39 percent, or 4.85 million vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 70.37 percent, reaching 3.91 million vaccine recipients.
