Israel ranks first, with a weekly increase in deaths growing by 533.33 percent. In this country, Worldometer recorded 38 deaths, a 58.33 percent increase compared to the previous day.
Next is Indonesia, which recorded 91.67 percent more deaths compared to the previous week. Daily data shows that deaths in this country decreased by 4.17% compared to the previous day. Then, India with 136 deaths (up 61.9%), Thailand with two deaths (unchanged from the previous period), and Japan with a 12.58% decrease in deaths.
Looking at the number of reported deaths, the highest number of deaths in the last seven days in Asia occurred in India with 136 deaths. Death reports in this country increased by 61.9% compared to the previous week. Following this, Japan had the highest number with 132 deaths (down 12.58%), Indonesia with 69 deaths (up 91.67%), South Korea with 44 deaths (down 16.98%), and Israel with 38 deaths (up 533.33%).
Total deaths in Asia over the past seven days were recorded at 452. This accounts for 18.59 percent of global deaths caused by the Covid-19 virus, totaling 2,431. The number of deaths in Asia increased compared to the previous seven-day accumulation of 396 deaths.
