The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that 300 regencies/cities have complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 73.66 percent (data as of Sunday, June 5, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 141.25 percent are Yogyakarta City (215.05 percent), Central Jakarta City (203.03 percent), Denpasar City (154.94 percent), South Jakarta City (153.75 percent), and Magelang City (141.25 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination rates in most regencies/cities outside Java. A higher-than-previous daily complete vaccination rate was recorded in 303 regencies/cities, while one regency/city recorded a lower complete vaccination rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City (154.94 percent), Padang Panjang City (129.32 percent), and Badung Regency (122.8 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
