The total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in Indonesia reached 4,023,777 as of Sunday, September 26, 2021. According to Worldometers data, this is the fourth highest in Asia.
India ranks first with the highest number of recovered COVID-19 patients at 32,924,420. Turkey is second with 6,497,275, and Iran is third with 4,944,087 recovered patients.
The number of newly recovered patients in Indonesia as of Sunday, September 19, 2021, reached 2,976. This figure ranks Indonesia 12th in Asia for highest daily recovery rate, after Pakistan with 3,090. India ranks first with 29,658 recovered COVID-19 patients.
The government is still striving to suppress COVID-19 cases in the country by implementing Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Levels 4, 3, and 2 in Java and Bali, starting September 7.
Meanwhile, the public is still urged to adhere to health protocols (prokes) by wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with running water. The public is also encouraged to avoid crowds and reduce mobility.
