COVID-19: The World's Greatest Concern

The Covid-19 pandemic is the most worrying issue for people worldwide. In an Ipsos survey, this issue ranked highest, with 44% of respondents considering it the primary problem in their respective countries.

However, Covid-19 is not the only concern for people in their countries. 38% and 30% of respondents admitted to worrying about unemployment, and poverty and social inequality, respectively.

Ipsos surveyed 19,511 respondents aged 16-74 years between September 25th and October 9th, 2020. This survey was conducted in 27 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, and Turkey.

The government continues to urge the public to adopt the 3M movement (Washing hands with soap, Wearing a mask, and Maintaining distance) to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
