The average expenditure of residents in Subulussalam City for purchasing oil and coconut in 2023 was Rp5,127.73 per capita per week. This figure is lower than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp5,915.81 per capita per week.

The three largest expenditure categories for oil and coconut in Subulussalam City, in descending order, were: sunflower oil (Rp4,073.55 per capita per week), coconut (excluding instant coconut milk) (Rp1,013.62 per capita per week), and other oils and coconuts (Rp40.57 per capita per week).
