Many Indonesian U-19 AFF Cup team players come from Persija.

The All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) has released the roster for the U-19 national team (Timnas) for the AFF U-19 Cup or ASEAN U-19 Boys Championship 2024, which will be held in Surabaya from July 17-29, 2024.

Indra Sjafri, the coach of the Indonesian U-19 national team, has selected 28 players to prepare for the tournament.

"Later, this will be reduced from 28 players to only 23. So we will still have to cut five more players before registering with AFF," said Indra, as reported by the PSSI website on Wednesday (July 10, 2024).

Persija Jakarta is the club that has contributed the most players to the Indonesian U-19 national team, with 5 players.

Borneo FC, Bali United, Bhayangkara, Barito Putera, Persib Bandung, and PSM Makassar each contributed 2 players.

There are also 3 players from overseas clubs who will represent Indonesia in the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup. They are Jens Raven (FC Dordrecht), Welberl Jardim (Sao Paolo FC), and Marselinus Ama (UD Logrones).
