Several districts/cities in Central Sulawesi province still record quite low vaccination rates compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Tojo Una Una Regency, Donggala Regency, and Sigi Regency.
As of Thursday, October 7, 2021, these three regencies had only completed 76,836 first doses of the vaccine, out of a target of 513,790 vaccine recipients.
Tojo Una Una Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, this region has only recorded a 14.94% vaccination rate, the lowest among the 13 other districts/cities. The vaccination program in this regency targets 114,400 participants. The average vaccination rate last week was 163 participants. Available stock amounts to 8,416 vaccine doses.
Next is Donggala Regency, ranking second lowest. With a vaccination target of 214,440 participants, only 14.96% or 32,072 participants have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 803 participants. Available stock amounts to 37,368 vaccine doses.
Third is Sigi Regency. With a vaccination target of 184,950 participants, only 14.96% or 27,674 participants have been vaccinated. The average vaccination rate last week was 260 participants. Available stock amounts to 11,720 vaccine doses.
At the provincial level, the total first dose vaccination in Central Sulawesi has reached 27.21%, covering 581,260 vaccine recipients. The second dose vaccination has reached 15.51%, covering 331,300 vaccine recipients.
