The top five districts/cities with Covid-19 death rates exceeding 0.27 per 100,000 population per week are Kutai Barat (0.66 per 100,000 population per week), Malaka (0.49 per 100,000 population per week), Buleleng (0.3 per 100,000 population per week), Purworejo (0.28 per 100,000 population per week), and Lombok Barat (0.27 per 100,000 population per week).
National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in Covid-19 deaths in most districts/cities outside Java. Zero districts/cities recorded a higher daily Covid-19 death rate than previously, and two districts/cities recorded lower Covid-19 death rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest Covid-19 death rates include Kutai Barat (0.66 per 100,000 population per week), Malaka (0.49 per 100,000 population per week), and Buleleng (0.3 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
