86.75% of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered in Riau.

As of Saturday, January 29, 2022, Riau Province had achieved an 86.75% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 4.2 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 4.84 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 56.24% of the target by that date.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in the province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,920 recipients. For the first dose, 32,920 people were vaccinated (138.4% of the target), and for the second dose, 132.88% of the target was achieved, or 29,070 people.

For public sector workers, the target was 349,420 people. The first dose vaccination reached 499,400 people (142.92% of the target), and the second dose reached 131.42% of the target, with 459,200 doses administered.

The elderly target was 322,470 people. For the first dose, 201,880 people were vaccinated (62.61% of the target). The second dose reached 39.71% of the target, or 128,050 people.

The target for vulnerable members of the general public was 3.45 million people. For the first dose, 2.5 million people were vaccinated (74.43% of the target). The second dose reached 47.05% of the target, or 1.56 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17, the target was 684,190 people. The first dose was administered to 643,510 people (94.05% of the target). The second dose reached 68% of the target, with 465,280 doses administered.
