Other crowded locations with mask compliance rates above 90% are airports and train stations. Mask compliance percentages in these two locations were 99.96% and 99.92%, respectively.
Terminals and offices have mask compliance rates of 99.89% and 99.85%, respectively. Meanwhile, public roads have a mask compliance rate of 99.49%.
The crowded location with the lowest average mask compliance in Bali is sports venues or RPTRA (Community-Based Integrated Public Spaces). The percentage is 92.06%.
Monitoring of health protocol implementation was conducted on 1.08 million people at 228,114 points across 9 regencies/cities in Bali from November 29 to December 5, 2021. Overall, mask compliance in Bali is quite high because all regencies/cities in the province have a mask compliance rate of 91-100%.
The use of masks, especially double-layered masks or N95 type masks, is important to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus. In addition, the public is urged to maintain distance, wash their hands with soap, avoid crowds, and limit mobility.
