Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 20,440 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 20,440 people (127.2 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 118.05 percent or 24,120 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 247,010 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 192,030 people (77.74 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 63.82 percent, or 157,650 people.
The elderly target was 157,300 people. For the first dose, 61,750 people received the vaccine (39.26 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 14.08 percent, or 22,140 people.
The target for the vulnerable general public was 1.28 million people. For the first dose, 732,680 people reportedly received the vaccine (58.67 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 24.53 percent, or 297,180 people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 296,410 people. For the first dose, 201,100 people received the vaccine (67.85 percent of the target). The second dose reached only 34.16 percent, or 101,270 people.
