Balikpapan City ranked first with the highest number of weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases at 10.84 per 100,000 population per week. The number of weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases in this city shows no improvement, having increased compared to the previous week, which recorded 9.29 cases per 100,000 population per week.
The same condition occurred in Mahakam Ulu, which recorded 7.46 weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population per week. In this city, the number of weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases is also higher than the previous week, which reported zero weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases. Berau follows, recording 5.49 weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population per week.
Bontang and Paser cities follow, recording 5.39 and 5.22 weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population per week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed agglomerate positive COVID-19 cases across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 1.89 cases per 100,000 population per week.
