The survey also showed that the majority, or 90%, of Indonesians will cook at home for friends or family during Ramadan. In addition, 99% of respondents said they would spend time eating together with family at home.

TGM Research surveyed 818 respondents in Indonesia aged 18-55 years. The survey was conducted from February 3rd to February 18th, 2023, using the computer-assisted web interviewing (CAWI) method.

This year's fasting month is expected to begin on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023. However, the certainty of Ramadan will be determined through the Isbat Session by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023.
