The Katadata Insight Center (KIC) report, titled *Katadata Corporate Sustainability Index*, shows that PT Sentra Food Indonesia Tbk is the food and beverage (F&B) company with the highest, and thus best, sustainability index in Indonesia in 2022. This processed meat and packaged beverage producer recorded an index score of 67.17 points.
Katadata calculated the index for 18 F&B companies publicly listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
The indicators assessed in the sustainability index for the food and beverage sector relate to energy and water, emissions and waste, and environmental, social, and certification efforts.
PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk ranked second. This shrimp processing and exporting company recorded an index score of 65.59 points.
PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk, a cocoa bean and chocolate processing company, ranked third with an index score of 65 points.
Below are the 2022 sustainability index scores for 18 Indonesian food and beverage companies, according to the KIC report:

8. PT Akasha Wira International Tbk: 56.83%
9. PT Siantar Top Tbk: 54.20%
10. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk: 51.31%
11. PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk: 50.67%
12. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk: 50.32%
13. PT Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk: 48.6%
14. PT Mayora Indah Tbk: 47%
15. PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy Tbk: 43.27%
16. PT Era Mandiri Cemerlang Tbk: 42.63%
17. PT Morenzo Abadi Perkasa Tbk: 36.62%

Katadata also encourages Indonesian companies to implement sustainability systems and contribute to environmental protection and the reduction of social inequality.
This is done through the calculation, publication, and awarding of the Corporate Sustainability Index, presented at the Katadata Sustainability Action for The Future Economy (SAFE) 2022 event.
The assessment was conducted on companies publicly listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in three industrial sectors: plantation, mining, and food and beverage.
