According to a JakPat survey, dry cakes are the most sought-after gift hampers among Indonesians for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2025, chosen by 61% of respondents.

In the food category, respondents also plan to purchase hampers containing packaged food and beverages (53%), basic necessities (sembako) (45%), and ready-to-eat meals (44%).

Other types of hampers respondents intend to buy include religious items (26%), clothing and accessories (19%), household goods (10%), health and hygiene products (8%), beauty products (6%), and home décor (6%).

JakPat also revealed that among those who planned their finances, 22% of respondents budgeted Rp250,000-Rp500,000 for hampers this year.

Other respondents allocated hamper spending between Rp100,000-Rp250,000 (21%), Rp500,000-Rp1,000,000 (20%), and Rp1,000,000-Rp1,500,000 (11%).

This JakPat survey involved 1,702 Muslim respondents, narrowed down to 1,310 respondents planning to buy hampers. The proportion consisted of 53% men and 47% women.

Respondents were located in non-Jabodetabek Java (51%), Jabodetabek (34%), and outside Java (15%). Respondents were predominantly millennials (44%), Gen Z (40%), and Gen X (16%).

The survey was conducted online via the JakPat application on January 15-16, 2025, with a margin of error below 5%.
