Survey: Most Citizens Rate the Performance of the Indonesian National Team as Good

According to a Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) survey, the majority, or 96.2% of respondents, rated the performance of the Indonesian national football team on the international stage as good.

This figure comprises 32.7% who rated it as very good and 63.5% as good.

On the other hand, only 3.2% of respondents considered the Indonesian national team's performance poor. The breakdown is 3.1% rating it as poor and 0.1% as very poor.

This high level of appreciation is in line with public satisfaction. 63.6% of respondents stated they were satisfied and 24.9% very satisfied with the achievements of the Indonesian national football team.

"The remaining 10.9% who are still dissatisfied can be interpreted as having high expectations of the national team players in each international match," said the Litbang Kompas team in their report on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

This Litbang Kompas survey involved 637 respondents from 38 provinces, selected randomly and proportionally.

Data collection was conducted from October 9-11, 2024, through telephone interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 3.88% with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
