Rabbit Stew, One of the World's Best Rabbit Dishes According to Taste Atlas

The global culinary guide, Taste Atlas, released a list of the world's best rabbit dishes on June 11, 2024. Included in this list is an Indonesian dish: Sate Kelinci. This Javanese Indonesian culinary delight ranked fourth as the best rabbit dish in the world according to Taste Atlas, scoring 4 out of 5 points.

"This dish consists of rabbit meat that is usually seasoned, then skewered with bamboo satay sticks and grilled until cooked," Taste Atlas wrote in its report.

Meanwhile, first place for the world's best rabbit dish was *kouneli stifado*, achieving a score of 4.5 points. This traditional Greek culinary creation is a type of stew made from pieces of rabbit meat cooked with onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, red wine vinegar, chicken or rabbit broth, and olive oil.
