Previously, the FAO recorded the global food price index at 154.2 in June 2022. This level is 23.1% higher than the position a year earlier.

Similarly, the cereal price index, including rice prices, stood at 166.3 in June 2022. This figure is up 27.6% compared to the position a year earlier.
