East Java, the Province with the Highest Rose Production

According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Indonesia produced 204.63 million rose stems in 2023.

Production volume increased by 21% compared to 2022, which produced 169.10 million stems.

In 2023, East Java was the highest rose-producing province in Indonesia, with 123.95 million stems.

It was followed by West Java and Central Java, which produced 44.24 million and 27.71 million stems, respectively.

These three provinces on Java Island contributed 95.73% to the total national rose production.

Here is a complete list of the 10 provinces with the highest rose production in Indonesia in 2023:

1. East Java: 123.95 million stems
2. West Java: 44.24 million stems
3. Central Java: 27.71 million stems
4. North Sumatra: 7.43 million stems
5. South Kalimantan: 536,480 stems
6. East Kalimantan: 344,270 stems
7. North Kalimantan: 129,640 stems
8. West Kalimantan: 77,290 stems
9. Bali: 76,240 stems
10. West Sumatra: 35,640 stems

Only four provinces did not produce roses in 2023: Bangka Belitung Islands, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, and North Maluku.
