Melansir laporan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Indonesia memproduksi kentang seberat 1,25 juta ton sepanjang 2023.

Volume produksi ini turun 255,49 ribu ton (16,99%) dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya (year-on-year/yoy). Dibanding 5 tahun yang lalu, produksi kentang di Indonesia turun 66,14 ribu ton (5,03%).

Produksi kentang terbesar nasional berada di Jawa Timur. Provinsi tersebut menghasilkan kentang sebanyak 278,8 ribu ton, yang berkontribusi 22% dari total produksi nasional pada 2023.

Pada posisi kedua hingga kelima, ada Jawa Tengah dengan volume produksi sebanyak 248,7 ribu ton, Jawa Barat 226,42 ribu ton, Jambi 186,04 ribu ton, dan Sumatera Utara 139,17 ribu ton.

Adapun produksi kentang terendah berasal dari Maluku, yakni hanya 26 ton.

Di sisi lain, ada 15 provinsi yang tercatat tidak menghasilkan kentang pada 2023, di antaranya Banten, Maluku Utara, DI Yogyakarta, Kalimantan Barat, Gorontalo, Sulawesi Tenggara, Papua, Kalimantan Timur, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Kalimantan Utara, Kalimantan Selatan, Riau, Kalimantan Tengah, DKI Jakarta, dan Kep. Riau.

Berikut 10 provinsi penghasil kentang terbesar nasional pada 2023 menurut BPS.
