Oscar 2022: Dune Panen Piala, CODA Menangi Best Picture

Film Dune berhasil menyabet 6 penghargaan dalam Oscar 2022. Sementara itu, CODA menjadi film pemenang Best Picture pada gelar Oscar kali ini.

Keenam penghargaan yang diraih Dune tersebut, yaitu Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Production Design, dan Best Visual Effects. Film yang diadaptasi dari novel dengan judul yang sama ini menghabiskan US$165 juta dalam produksinya.

Sementara, CODA berhasil memenangi dua penghargaan selain Best Picture. Kedua penghargaan tersebut adalah Best Supporting Actor untuk aktor Troy Kotsur dan Best Adapted Screenplay.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye menjadi film ketiga yang memenangi lebih dari 1 penghargaan. Film soal televangelis Tammy Faye ini memenangi Best Actress untuk Jessica Chastain dan Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
