East Java Food Prices Week of April 13th: Egg, Chili Pepper, and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 14.04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, granulated sugar, table salt, milkfish, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil prices surged the highest at Rp195 (1.07%) to Rp18,351 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies fell the sharpest at Rp2,111 (2.62%) to Rp78,462 per kg.
