Latest Food Prices in Bali: Rice and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (24/02/2025) at 15.28 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, shallots, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and table salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, mackerel, curly red chilies, Minyakita, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,470 (6.52%) to Rp56,731 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most sharply by Rp377 (6.37%) to Rp5,540 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 23 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on February 24, 2025, at 15.28 WIB.

7. Garlic Bulb: Rp38,963 per kg (up 0.01%)
8. Milkfish: Rp36,444 per kg (down 1.77%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,333 per kg (up 3.3%)
10. Shallots: Rp30,259 per kg (up 2.43%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,470 per kg (up 0.32%)
