Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Thursday, January 25, 2024)

Food prices in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (25/1/2024) at 12:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, curly red chilies, red chili peppers, medium-grain rice, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, Indian mackerel, farmer-level corn, premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,000 (3.56%), reaching Rp58,180 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the lowest price decrease of Rp560 (4.68%), reaching Rp11,410 per kg.
