Hutama Karya Implements Binjai-Stabat Toll Road Tariffs Starting April 3, 2022: Here's the Tariff List

PT Hutama Karya, the operator of the Binjai-Langsa Section 1, Binjai-Stabat section of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), began imposing toll fares on April 3, 2022.

Previously, the 11.8-kilometer (km) toll road operated free of charge as part of a socialization period from February to April 2, 2022.

The toll fares are as follows:

- Class I: Rp 15,000
- Class II: Rp 22,500
- Class III: Rp 22,500
- Class IV: Rp 30,000
- Class V: Rp 30,000

The Binjai-Stabat section of the JTTS is part of the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road, with a total length of 130.9 km. Construction of this section is divided into two phases.

Phase one, Section 1 Binjai-Stabat (11.8 km) has commenced operation. Sections 2 and 3, Stabat-Pankalan Brandan (46.2 km), are still under construction, reaching 50.53% completion and are targeted for completion in February 2023.

Phase two (72.9 km), Section 4 Pangkalan Brandan-Kuala Simpang (44.2 km) is targeted for completion in February 2024, and Section 5 Kuala Simpang-Langsa (29.2 km) is also targeted for completion in February 2024.

The following are the motor vehicle classifications according to the Toll Road Management Agency:

- Class I: Sedans, Jeeps, Small Pick-up Trucks, and Buses
- Class II: Trucks with 2 axles
- Class III: Trucks with 3 axles
- Class IV: Trucks with 4 axles
- Class V: Trucks with 5 axles
