The Indonesian government aims to make tap water potable in several buildings in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan, by August 2024.

According to Danis H. Sumadilaga, Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force, two raw water sources have been prepared: the Sepaku Semoi Dam and the Sepaku Intake.
