Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and MBZ Elevated Road Tolls Increase Starting March 9, 2024

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) increased tolls on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Elevated Toll Road starting Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 00.00 WIB.

This toll increase is based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) No. 250/KPTS/M/2024 dated February 2, 2024.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary and Legal at PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the toll increase compensates for the addition of lanes on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the addition of emergency parking bays on the MBZ Elevated Toll Road.

Other considerations include inflation and investment returns.

"This toll adjustment is necessary to ensure a conducive investment climate for toll roads," said Ria in her official statement on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

The following details the toll increase for the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the MBZ Elevated Toll Road for the longest distance with an open system:

* Vehicle Class I: from Rp20,000 to Rp27,000
* Vehicle Class II: from Rp30,000 to Rp40,500
* Vehicle Class III: from Rp30,000 to Rp40,500
* Vehicle Class IV: from Rp40,000 to Rp54,000
* Vehicle Class IV: from Rp40,000 to Rp54,000 (Note: This item is duplicated in the original text)

PT JTT, as the toll road operator, stated it remains committed to improving service quality, including the safety and comfort of toll road users.

"We continue to strive to meet the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for toll roads, improve toll road quality, and innovate toll road services to maintain sustainable business operations," said Ria.
