PLN Electricity Customers in Pekalongan Increased by 4.06% in 2020, Mostly from Households

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of PLN electricity customers in Pekalongan Regency in 2020 was 225,300. This figure increased by 8,790 customers or 4.06% compared to the previous year, which stood at 216,500 customers.

The largest number of PLN electricity customers in Pekalongan Regency in 2020 were from the household sector, totaling 200,500 customers. This represents an increase of 7,500 customers or 3.9% from the previous year's figure of 192,900 customers.

The second largest user group was the business/commercial sector, with 16,800 customers. This also saw an increase of 894 customers or 5.6% from the previous year's 15,900 customers.

In terms of capacity or power, the total electricity capacity in Pekalongan Regency was 312.46 million volt-amperes (VA) in 2020. This represents an increase of 14.2 million VA from the previous year's 298.2 million VA.

Meanwhile, electricity consumption in Pekalongan Regency in 2020 was recorded at 488.86 million kWh, an increase of 488,400 kWh from the previous year's 462.08 million kWh.
