The number of motor vehicles in Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan, reached 64,230 units in March 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Thursday (March 20th), the number of motorcycles in Nunukan Regency was 57,070 units.
Furthermore, the number of passenger cars was 3,824 units. This was followed by 3,281 units of goods vehicles, 18 buses, and 45 special purpose vehicles.
Among the regencies/cities in the province, Tarakan City had the highest number of motor vehicles (143,860 units). Tana Tidung Regency had the lowest number (7,073 units).
