Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) recorded 304,736 units in *wholesale* car sales from January to November 2023.
This figure shows a slight increase of approximately 0.5% year-on-year (yoy) compared to the same period last year (303,282 units).
The Kijang Innova dominated Toyota's *wholesale* sales with 57,618 units sold, contributing 18.9% to the total sales for the period.
In second place was the Avanza model, with 56,432 units sold, contributing 18.5%.
The Calya completed the top three best-selling Toyota cars with 41,683 units sold, contributing 13.67%.
With this achievement, Toyota became the number one best-selling car in the Indonesian automotive market with a *market share* of 3.1% during January-November 2023.
