The Toyota Kijang Innova topped the list of Indonesia's best-selling cars in July 2023. It surpassed the Daihatsu Sigra and Honda Brio, which previously frequently held the top spots.
Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), the Innova was the best-selling car last month, with 5,760 units sold from the factory to dealers (wholesales) in the domestic market.
The Honda Brio series (Brio Satya and RS) came in second with 5,579 wholesale units sold last month, followed by the Daihatsu Sigra with 4,766 units.
The Toyota Avanza ranked fourth with 4,758 units sold, followed by the Toyota Calya in fifth place with 4,413 units.

Overall, wholesale car sales in July 2023 reached 80,416 units. This figure is down 2% compared to the previous month (month-on-month/MoM), which reached 82,581 units in June 2023.
Compared to the same period last year, domestic wholesale car sales in July 2023 also fell by 7.2% (year-on-year/YoY).
