The Daihatsu Sigra has once again won the title of best-selling car in Indonesia in February 2024. This is the second time the Sigra has achieved this title, following its win in January 2024.
According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), wholesale sales of the Daihatsu Sigra in the domestic market reached 5,543 units in February 2024.
The Honda Brio, including the RS and Satya variants, was the second best-selling car in Indonesia last month. In February 2024, Honda sold 4,642 Brio units.
Next, the Toyota Avanza took third place in the list of Indonesia's best-selling cars in February 2024. Wholesale sales of this popular car reached 4,214 units last month.
In fourth place is the Toyota Rush with wholesale sales of 3,928 units. Meanwhile, the Toyota Kijang Innova, which was the best-selling car throughout 2023, now occupies fifth place with wholesale sales of 3,748 units.

Gaikindo also revealed that the volume of wholesale car sales in the domestic market reached 70,657 units throughout February 2024. This figure grew by approximately 1.5% compared to the previous month (month-on-month/MoM).
However, year-on-year, the February 2024 wholesale performance plummeted by 18.84% compared to February 2023 (year-on-year/YoY), which reached 87,059 units.
