Domestic car sales from factory to dealer (wholesale) reached 81,228 units in February 2022, according to the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo). This figure represents a slight 3.4% decrease compared to the previous month's 84,062 units.
According to Gaikindo's report, the Honda Brio topped the sales chart with a total of 5,576 units sold, encompassing both the Brio Satya and RS variants.
Suzuki Carry ranked second with total sales of 4,660 units. The Toyota Kijang Innova came in third with 4,489 units sold.
Following closely behind was the Mitsubishi Xpander, with 4,187 units sold. This was followed by the Toyota Rush (3,811 units) and the Daihatsu Xenia (3,646 units).
The Honda BR-V sold 3,514 units. This was followed by the Daihatsu Gran Max Pick Up (3,493 units), the Toyota Avanza (3,061 units), and the Toyota Veloz (2,863 units).
