PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) recorded retail sales of 9,019 units in February 2024. Sales volume decreased by 25% year-on-year (YoY) compared to February 2023, which saw sales of 12,069 units.
In February 2024, the Brio maintained its position as the best-selling Honda car model, with sales of 4,418 units. This Honda LCGC (low cost green car) contributed 47% of total Honda car retail sales during that period.
The next highest sales came from the SUV segment, with the HR-V selling 1,605 units, followed by the WR-V with 1,348 units and the BR-V with 983 units.
The CR-V recorded sales of 388 units in February 2024. Although not the highest number, 73% or 285 units were the e:HEV (hybrid) variant.
“Consumers are increasingly confident in Honda's hybrid technology, which offers better fuel efficiency and practical technology,” said HPM Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director Yusak Billy in an official statement on Friday, March 15, 2024.

With these achievements, Honda achieved a 12.8% share of the domestic automotive retail market in February 2024. This makes the Japanese car manufacturer the third best-selling car nationally last month.
“We are optimistic that the market trend will continue to grow in the lead-up to the Lebaran holiday, supported by consumer demand for Honda products,” said Billy.
