Based on data from the Indonesian Motor Vehicle Industry Association (Gaikindo) processed by Degree Synergy International, the volume of wholesale car sales in Indonesia reached 37,908 units in the first quarter of 2026.

During this period, BYD became the best-selling Chinese manufacturer in Indonesia, with wholesale sales of 12,473 units, a year-on-year increase of 118.1%.

That figure equates to 32.9% of the total wholesale sales of Chinese cars in the domestic market.
