Gran Max, Best-selling Pickup Truck in Indonesia in 2025

A pick-up truck is a type of vehicle that has an open cargo bed and is designed to carry a large amount of cargo.

Data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) shows that pick-up truck wholesale sales in the domestic market reached 107,008 units in 2025.

In 2025, the Daihatsu Gran Max PU became the best-selling pick-up truck domestically. This Japanese-made vehicle recorded wholesale sales of 40,761 units, which came from a combination of 1.3 and 1.5 variants.

The next positions were held by the Suzuki New Carry with wholesale sales of 29,289 units and the Mitsubishi L300 with 12,410 units.

Overall, the wholesale sales volume of all car types in Indonesia reached 803,687 units in 2025. Approximately 13% of these were pick-up trucks.
