LCGC Car Sales in Indonesia to Rise by End of 2025

Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) vehicles are a type of four-wheeled vehicle that is relatively affordable and fuel-efficient.

Data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) shows that the wholesale volume of LCGC car sales from factories to dealers in the domestic market reached 10,535 units in December 2025.

Its volume increased by 18.7% compared to the previous month (month-to-month/mtm). However, when compared to December 2024, sales plummeted by 27.1% (year-on-year/yoy).

In December 2025, Toyota Calya became the best-selling LCGC car type in Indonesia with wholesale sales of 3,507 units, equivalent to 33% of the total national LCGC sales.

Following that were Daihatsu Sigra with wholesale sales of 2,563 units, Honda Brio 2,076 units (Satya S and Satya E types), Toyota Agya 2,002 units, and Daihatsu Ayla 387 units.

Overall, wholesale sales of all car types in Indonesia reached 94,100 units in December 2025. Approximately 11% of these were contributed by LCGC type cars.
