The Best-Selling Chery Car Models in Indonesia during the First Half of 2025

According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), Chery's domestic wholesale sales volume reached 10,283 units in the first half of 2025.

Sales volume soared by 161.05% compared to the first half of last year, which was only 3,939 units.

"Hopefully, this positive momentum will continue, and the automotive market this year will be better than the previous year," said Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand & Marketing Department at PT Chery Sales Indonesia, in a press release on Wednesday (16/7/2025).

In the first half of 2025, the iCar 03 was Chery's best-selling car with wholesale sales of 3,979 units. This is an electric SUV with an off-road style that entered the Indonesian market last year.

Still from the SUV line, the Tiggo 8 followed in second place with wholesale sales of 3,074 units. This figure is a combination of sales of the Pro and Pro Max series.

1. iCar 03: 3,979 units

2. Tiggo 8: 3,074 units

3. Tiggo Cross: 2,073 units

4. Omda E5: 632 units

5. Omda 5 Z: 290 units

6. Tiggo 5X: 129 units

7. Omda 5 GT: 77 units

8. Tiggo 7: 29 units

Cumulatively, Chery contributed 2.7% to national wholesale car sales in the first quarter of 2025, with a total volume of 374,740 units. This achievement makes Chery the 11th best-selling car manufacturer in Indonesia.
