The Indonesian animated film *Jumbo* has been crowned the highest-grossing Indonesian animated film of all time.
According to CinePoint data, from its release on March 31, 2025, to April 11, 2025, the Visinema Animation production has been viewed by over 2 million viewers.
This achievement surpasses the previous record held by *Si Juki the Movie* (2017) with a total of 642,312 viewers.
This debut film by director Ryan Adriandhy is a collaboration of over 420 Tahan Air creators and was developed over five years.
*Jumbo* tells the story of Don, a boy frequently bullied because of his large size. He dreams of putting on a show based on his parents' legacy storybook.
However, problems arise when the storybook is stolen by another child, Atta. Shortly after, Don meets Meri, a girl from another world, who asks for his help in finding her parents. Recognizing Meri's potential, Don also enlists her help in creating his show.
The conflict intensifies when Don, Atta, Meri, and their friends uncover a problem involving the village head—a figure previously known for his kindness.
Due to its popularity, *Jumbo* is scheduled to be released in Malaysian, Singaporean, and Bruneian cinemas starting June 2025. It will also be shown in other Asian and European regions, including Russia, Ukraine, and Tajikistan.
