Hybrid Car Sales in Indonesia Rise Again in July 2024

Sales of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in Indonesia increased in July 2024, continuing the strengthening trend from the previous month.

Based on Gaikindo data, in July 2024, the volume of HEV wholesales in the domestic market reached 4,900 units, up 21.9% compared to June 2024 (month-to-month).

Cumulatively, the wholesale volume of hybrid car sales from January to July 2024 reached 29,700 units.

The trend also grew by 34% compared to January-July sales last year (cumulative-to-cumulative), which totaled 22,200 units.

The following are the hybrid car models with the highest wholesale figures from January to July 2024:

1. Toyota All New Kijang Innova Zenix Q Modellista: 4,945 units
2. Toyota All New Kijang Innova Zenix V: 4,298 units
3. Toyota All New Kijang Innova Zenix G: 3,737 units
4. Suzuki Alpha Hybrid 2 Tone AT: 1,767 units
5. Honda All New CR-V 2.0e: 1,735 units
6. Suzuki XL-7 Beta Hybrid AT: 1,670 units
7. Toyota Alphard 2.5 Hybrid: 1,544 units
8. Suzuki XL-7 Alpha Hybrid AT: 935 units
9. Toyota New Yaris Cross 1.5 S: 808 units
10. Suzuki All New Ertiga GX Hybrid AT: 768 units
