The Ministry of Transportation has issued new regulations regarding the fares for two-wheeled online motorcycle taxis (ojol) on August 4, 2022.
Based on these new regulations, the increase in the lower and upper fare limits only applies to Zone II, which includes the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas.
The lower and upper fare limits remain unchanged for Zone I, which includes Sumatra, Java (excluding Jabodetabek), and Bali; and Zone III, which includes Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara and surrounding areas, Maluku, and Papua.
However, the minimum service fee range has increased in all zones.
Here is a comparison of the new lower fare limits for online motorcycle taxis with the previous period:
* Zone I: Rp1,850/km (unchanged)
* Zone II: previously Rp2,000/km, increased to Rp2,600/km starting August 2022
* Zone III: Rp2,100/km (unchanged)

* Zone I: Rp2,300/km (unchanged)
* Zone II: previously Rp2,500/km, increased to Rp2,700/km starting August 2022

* Zone I: previously Rp7,000–Rp10,000, increased to Rp9,250–Rp11,500 starting August 2022
* Zone II: previously Rp8,000–Rp10,000, increased to Rp13,000–Rp13,500 starting August 2022
* Zone III: previously Rp7,000–Rp10,000, increased to Rp10,500–Rp13,000 starting August 2022
